From chaos, order.
there are always slogans
that seem to value everything's
being neatly in a row, and even
when we honor disorder
with kitschy catchphrases
like "a messy desk is the sign of an organized mind"
the implication is still that the organization
in the mind
is something to be desired.
Well no more!
Let us rejoice and sing
the exalted praises of everything
that is random
and unconnected
and scattered about
not in a place that someone has predetermined it
should
be, but rather settling nicely into the place that it
is
because, left to its own devices,
that is where it has chosen, itself,
to reside.
Let's hear it for chaos,
mess,
one shoelace untied,
and the giant pile of laundry that sits unfolded.
Leave the heavy organization to the time poor,
making investments to save in the long run.
And rather take the time now to appreciate
the value of the eventual search.
