I'm sure that you wonder
who may have written this
and placed it in the empty
bottle of 1966 Isle of Jura
before casting off to float
alongside the other waste
but instead know that I wonder
who may be reading this
and went through effort to grab
a piece of glass garbage
that appeared to be a gem
with meaningful notes entombed
