As We Walk Two Lanes Of The Same Highway

Appreciation comes
in forms and forms but rarely is
the norm when I'm the source.
When forced, I flee and
(you know me) I seem
miserably to fail.
But all hail, because I
might, today -- tonight,
give you a slight acknowledgement
or nod.  My wish is that
without a prod, my roughshod
words arranged in
odd formations still with you
can find a home.  Together
we roam, alongside our gnome, to
build together what we've
come to love.  And with you,
I do, I do, I do, and on wings
of dove ask but "do you?"
and hope to hear only a "yes, I too."
