The Narcissists

He does more
than you would think,
sitting in front of a mirror admiring the reflection

Really her life
more focuses on
her superiority in other ways, mental her predilection

In his mastery
of the ability
to find fault in others, he gains satisfaction

Strange yet
that she cannot
locate the exact same cracks with her infraction

They baffle all
or so they think
with their brilliant, unmatched powers of deduction

In loneliness
they both shall wait
still, but moving ever toward their own destruction

A good poem! I could see where you were leading me (destruction), and the rhymes work nicely.
