Lucite

Lucite.
It's a weird plastic-like glass-like clear hard thing.
They like to float things in it,
suspended animation,
laser-cut three-dimensional images
etched lettering white on clear
mostly saying "good job" or "thanks for
working on my project" or some such
platitude.
They make nice sun catchers in the big pile on top
of the bookcase in my office.
