11-11-11

Three elevens, could be thirty-
three, or maybe just plain old
six with a different grouping, granted
that assumes the ones carry the
same value (no, I didn't say
"carry the one").  Subtraction yields a
negative eleven, just one the opposite
of the start.  Six digits, but three pairs
of two digits, all in perfect harmony
(but maybe more so than
ebony and ivory,

resulting in unsustainable
harvesting and extinction
from poaching) and all hiding
in the confines of numerology
and mathematics, the lone truth that
spans the universe (or so we arrogantly
think until we realize that we're the
only ones that think that).  One date
(with relevance to nobody but
ourselves, and even then only in relation
to arbitrary time points of our

choosing).  Still, the numeric
palindromes and perfect repe-
tition lend themselves to a sense
of comfort, pleasant, and to
one individual for certain,
relaxing for two sides of a
coin.  Three elevens, counted
again, the same as six ones
together and multipled by eleven
halves, all coming back to
thirty-three.
