The red murky pool

Steam rising off the top like
clouds with a fruit fly's lifecycle,

expiring inches above
the surface of the thick viscous red.

Slight layered separation of
the clear from the crimson smoke

billowing cumulonimbus under
the waves and storm, just settling.

The shiny silver craft stops to
  navigate just below the surface,

stealing a sample, lifting towards
the depository where upset, it drains.

Theft repeats, and again to
  heaven the extracts are carried.

Lunch finished, the water rinses the bowl into the cupboard.
