you're miles away but I
guess that's your intent
so almost everyone
who blares their indie pop
or hard bass laden rap
will get out of your way
to the emergency
you fly, you drive, you flee
but I can't imagine that
there are many drivers now
at four thirty A.M.
when I was fast asleep
and you announced your quest
and made me wake annoyed
but then I realize
if your target is me
I want you here quite fast
with others out the way
so continue as you must
and I'll await the day
