the mind wants nothing
except a friend
companionship, longing to be needed
when presented with a choice, a vision, a beauty
it is easy to know what the mind wants
for it is the same, indeed as the rest
the giraffe wanders, the mouse scurries
both making their way
worlds apart, yet always together in thought.
