Maybe sandwich

Always yes or no with this one.
No, I didn't mean "yes" or "no" -
I meant "yes or no" as in
"maybe"

Never a firm commitment.
All I really wanted to do was
go grab some lunch, and I asked
to check availability, and it's "maybe."

What's the time limit on a "maybe" anyway?
An hour, a week, five minutes before definitive?

All I know is I'm off to grab a sandwich.
