Eighteen and One-Quarter Score Days Ago

There were only two of us then
and I was obviously younger, less experienced

And now, two-point-eight-five percent
of my life has progressed, two-point-nine before

Candles never were my thing
glad that we don't have to play games, sing songs

I wonder who else might be claiming today
as theirs, now that Dennis has joined the Ayatollah

I am sure Trent is too busy, and who knows
what Bill and Bob may be up to.

Somebody go ask the Scotsman, now American
I always thought we had something in common

My own celebrations seem less significant
the more frequently I have them

And I feel like we both have more to celebrate
than just the passing of time.
